Helpful Commands for New Players

New to the game? Here's a few commands that can help you find your way around...

News
First, the 'news' command will direct you to all of the in-game documentation, so you don't have to flip back and forth between the game, and the website, when looking up some information.

Globals
The 'globals' command is broken down into a variety of sections. This lists every command available to you, the player, with a short summary of each action.

Where
The 'where' command will show you where everyone is, on the game.

Cortex
This is the global used to access the Cortex, a stream of news and information. Check often!

+goooc/+goic
Flips you off and back onto the Game Grid. The OOC bboard is here, which is where information about upcoming scenes or events are posted, and other OOC news of general interest to all players.

Sheet, Inventory, Score
'Sheet' will give you a full breakdown of your skills, tools, and general status. It will also show you what skill you are currently training, if any. 'Inventory' lists the tools and equipment you have on your person, as well as your current Karmic Balance. 'Score' just lists your current Karma.

Staff
Shows which staffers are online, feel free to page us with a question!

If you need help with a specific command, always try: command #help. For example, 'page #help' or 'mail #help'. This will bring up the helpfile for that command!

Finally, if you're stuck, use the 'staff' command, to see if a Staffer is available to help you. If not, try the 'Admin' command as a last resort. :)
