Using Scenecam - Recording Scenes

The Scenecam System is the core of the game. Using a Scenecam is pretty easy, but there are also some advanced functions for organization and keeping track of scenes.

Scenes are the currency of the game. You can record and submit your Roleplaying, in exchange for Karmans, which can be used to make purchases, increase skills, and so on.

Scenes, typically, need to be at least 30 minutes long. A pool of Karmans is created when you Submit a scene, and these are doled out to the participants. The person who created a scene gets double the Karmans from the pool. You can record all sorts of scenes, from ship action, to running a bar or restaraunt. We welcome all kinds of roleplaying, but please do not record logs of a sexual nature.

Scenes are randomly reviewed by our staffers, to ensure that people are following the guidelines, and not trying to cheat the system.

There are many commands associated with the SceneCam system, and each one of them can have '#help' provided as an option, to bring up the full help screen. Example: Record #help

Basic Scenecam Commands:

Record [scenename] - Starts recording a scene
Record #stop - Stops and Saves the Recording.

These are the commands to start and stop recording. A [Scenename] can be up to 25 characters long, and cannot include the '/' character in the name.

Scenejoin [Player] - Joins [Player]'s scene, must be in the Same Room as the Player

This is how you join someone else's scene. The person who starts a scene gains more Karma, because they're running the scene. Running a scene means you are expected to keep a scene going, prodding if necessary, or describing the scene.

Submit [scenename] - Submit a recording for Karmans

Finally, this is how you submit a scene for Karma. Remember, scenes need to be at least 30 minutes long. Padding a Scene will be noticed, so please don't!
