Connecting to the Game

The address of the server is: vfocus.com:2525

There are a variety of Clients you can use to connect to us, and access the game. They are presented here in no particular order other than alphabetical:

If you are new to text-based games, then follow these instructions!

First, download and install one of the Clients from above. For Windows, we suggest BeipMU. For Macintosh, we suggest Savitar.

Windows

Launch BeipMU, and click on the first button, the Red Icon. This will bring up the connection window. Click on "New", then on server in the pop-up. A computer icon will appear at the top of the left-hand box, type in 'Cortex', and hit enter.

Highlight that icon, and in the right-hand side, under 'Server', type in 'Cortex' in the Name box, 'vfocus.com' in the Host box, and '2525' in the Port box.

Click [OK], and the window will close. Now, click the Red Connect Icon again, select the Cortex icon, and click [Connect].

Macintosh
